Donald Trump fulfilled his promise and bought a Tesla to show his support for Elon Musk at a time when the electric vehicle manufacturer is facing a difficult period, with declining sales and a stock devaluation of 50% over the past three months.

The U.S. president urged Americans to follow his example and purchase Tesla cars as a way to support Musk, whom he called "a great American."
At an event held in front of the White House, attended by Musk and the press, Trump revealed his choice: a red Tesla Model S. According to him, the payment will be made by check, with no special discount.
Despite praising the vehicle, which he described as a "very good product" and "beautiful," Trump revealed that he will not be driving it. The Model S will be available for White House staff, as Donald Trump has not driven for several years.
In Portugal, the Tesla Model S is priced from €109,990, with 670 hp and a range of 634 km. The most powerful version, the Plaid, boasts 1,020 hp and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.1 seconds.
